After a successful trial last year we are delighted to officially announce the addition of Lacrosse to the Manchester 7s Festival – in partnership with English Lacrosse.
“The Manchester 7s is a welcome addition to the UK Lacrosse scene and it is very exciting for English Lacrosse to be involved with this prestigious sporting Festival. We look forward to a fun weekend of Lacrosse, music and fancy dress!’’ said Caroline Royle, English Lacrosse Marketing Manager.
All Lacrosse tournaments will be of a social level and will take place on Saturday 19 May. Teams can enter the following tournaments at the 2012 Festival -
- Men’s Open 7s
- Women’s Open 7s
- Men’s Over 30′s 7s

If you are not playing in the Lacrosse but want to watch the tournaments and enjoy the Festival, please purchase your tickets on Ticketmaster.co.uk.
All on the day Lacrosse duties will be handled by English Lacrosse, so expect registration, pitch management and refereeing to run smoothly and professionally. All Lacrosse players and supporters will have full access to the rugby tournaments, festival arena, trade village and festival marquee to enjoy the live music.
A number of Lacrosse teams have already expressed interest in entering the Festival, as well as Lacrosse suppliers about exhibiting, so make sure you book your place at the 2012 festival today!
